BLS On-Line Training for Healthcare Provider RENEWALS.
- Healthcare Provider RENEWALS are defined as individuals who are in possession of a CURRENT Healthcare Provider card that not over two years old.
- A CURRENT card means your Healthcare Provider card has NOT expired
- Please bring your CPR card with you to Skills testing so that we can make a copy and attach it to your certificate.
- On-line training through the American Heart Association is $19.50. No other on-line training certificates will be accepted.
- Skills check-off is $65.00.
- If your card has expired, you must take the traditional course!
The on-line training takes you through the didactic information and the required course components (Part 1). Upon successful completion of the on-line training, you will print out a certificate and bring it with you for skills check-off.

The following are the required skills that you must successfully complete without prompting.
- One and two rescuer CPR for Adult, Child Infant
- Successful application of Barrier Devices: Pocket Mask and Bag-valve mask
- Use of AED for Adult, Child
Skills Check off should take between 30 - 45 minutes. To Access BLS On-line Training, go to onlineaha.org and click on the BLS On-Line training button. You will want to "Purchase" the product.

Heartsaver CPR AED, Heartsaver First Aid and/or a combination of both is also available at onlineaha.org. Lawson TEC provides Skills Check off to those individuals who have finished the online portion and printed out the certificate and can show a current CPR/First Aid card.
Skills check off is not a teaching session. Participants should come to Skills check off feeling somewhat comfortable with their skills and be able to demonstrate those skills with no prompting, after a brief practice period.
Required skills for Heartsaver AED are:

Integrate the use of the AED with CPR
First Aid required Skills are:
Finding the Problem
Controlling Bleeding
Removing gloves
Use of Epi Pen
Skills check off for all courses is $65.00.
